Default Parents and PDA's?

Do or did your parents show PDA's

Are they very lovey dovey in front of you, sit on the sofa and hold hands watching tv, hold hands when at the shops or do they never do this?

and how do you feel about it all?

Spoiler:

Kissed or held hands.

My step dad would do/say things to try and make us laugh or squirm but they'd never do anything like THAT seriously in front of us.

I'd still be in therapy if they ever did.

Hell no.
If my parents were actually speaking to each other or sharing the same room we thought there was something wrong.

Hubby and I try not to show too much affection for each other in front of the kids once they hit their teens.
But they do comment on our body language at times

I tell my wife and kids that i love them every single day and my kids come up spontaneously and kiss me and tell me they love me.

take this love elsewhere kirk

I became aware of their "love" on a couple of occasions and wanted to rip my eyes out.

My parents were very affectionate with each other in front of my brother and i growing up. I never saw anything weird about it, and actually i appreciate it now that i'm older because i'm also very affectionate with my partner, and i love being able to be openly flirtatious like that.

I have dated guys that hated PDA and were only comfortable with affection and stuff in the bedroom, and that's not for me. I don't like feeling like being affectionate should be some kind of secret.

It was nothing for my parents to hug and kiss in front of us. or if my dad bent over to pick something up my mom would smack his bottom and say "cute ass!" or while in the car, my dad would reach over and grab my moms boob. It was nothing, and just very playful. Nothing perverted or super sexual, just cute flirty stuff. my parents always put their relationship first, and i definitely learned a lot about relationships from them, they were very much in love until my mom died.

I don't think i would be as good a boyfriend as i am if it weren't for seeing how healthy my parents relationship was. i definitely grew up with a good relationship model.

Also i've noticed the guys i've had bad relationships with, were guys from broken homes and grew up with parents who had bad relationships. i don't think i could ever be happy with a guy that came from a divorced family.
