Default tooth tartar, anyone had to remove that before at the dentist

i've got this weird knob attached to my right corner teeth, it's a bit sharp

i keep thinking is this my wisdom teeth, but i didn't feel a thing that knob getting there, and i think it's Always with pain (and especially for people like me who have a too small mouth) that you feel pain when wisdom teeth come through, and that isn't the case here

this knob though is annoying since it's stuck against my right bottom corner teeth and also against my left bottom corner teeth, and yes i have brushed not that good few times there, and they say tartar exists out of plaque, that gets hard, so could that be lots of plaque having gotten hard

i've brushed better there lately and i feel better everytime i brush it at these places, i've also noticed one of them having gotten smaller but still stuck against those teeth

so my scare is more it's wisdom teeth but i would be surprised if that is the case

so anyone had this teeth tartar/plaque before?

Yeah brushing the knob should do it some good.

Maybe stroke it too.

I had this when I was younger behind the back of my front bottom teeth, the dentist removed some of it but then just brushing a bit harder will get it off eventually but honestly it's not as ~dangerous as they make it sound

If you are worried just phone your dentist. But I think just keep brushing.

You are supposed to get your teeth cleaned at the dentist every year. Make sure to brush every surface of your teeth and floss them. If tartar builds up you can get gum disease which can lead to tooth loss.

i think of that, because it's at a similar place, between my bottom corner teeth and my jawbone

but it looks yellow(ish) which is the sort of colour tooth tartar looks like

and also it being stuck to my bottom corner teeth

i do brush it a lot more now, with electrical toothbrush, i brush with electrical for quite a long time now

and only recent years i had experienced tooth tartar, between my front teeth but never in the back of my mouth

I disagree on flossing ,if anything it causes sore gums.

I would just stick to brushing twice a day & mouthwash , but in Nicky's case maybe he should use salt water .
And then go to dentist

Is this the first knob in your mouth or you had one before?

Flossing isn't necessary. You just need to brush twice a day and use mouthwash.

Nicky do you know why you've got it? For me I was scared of brushing too hard so I wasn't doing it hard enough actually to get rid of the tartar. Also I didn't use mouthwash until after that, but it's really good not only for that but it makes your mouth feel fresh and can help to whiten your teeth too

i kinda forgot to brush the back of my mouth few times, either that or i can't reach some places there that well

since i had seen some plaque get more easily removed around some of the other areas around that corner teeth except one place near my cheek, jawbone (since my mouth is that small on the inside)

You definitely need to go to the dentist. It doesn't hurt to get it cleaned, you'll feel so much better when it's over.
