Do you struggle to get 7 hours or would you sleep all day if you could?

8/9 hours is ideal, sometimes I wake in the night to go to the toilet but I can pretty much always fall straight back to sleep

I could do 10 hours but I’d wake up a couple of times during that time
I find I’m best on 5 hours over anything else |

How long you sleep is very often not a choice ! I have a health condition which has completely destroyed my sleep , i hate it and would love to be able to have a 'lie in' been impossible for me for years , sometimes you just have to take what you can get and get on with it !

I must admit I was fine for 7 to 8 hours per night until I saw this a few nights ago..now I'm lucky if I get 5 in a row.

I work shifts ( have to be at work for 5am) if I sleep 3hrs then get up I'm fine, any more than that and I'm useless... I think it's not enough time to get into a really deep sleep so it's easier to wake up from. On my days off I can sleep 10hrs to catch up easy.

When my anxiety/depression episodes are very bad I can sleep or "be in bed" for like up to about 16 hours or maybe more, like a zombie.

It depends really.
Sometimes I can be alert with just 4 hours sleep, other times I can go to sleep for about 9 hours and still be tired when I wake up and try to sneak a 10th hour in.

It changes for me. Sometimes my depression leaves me unable to function and I languish in bed all day. Other times it causes me to be unable to sleep and I get up after as little as 2-3 hours.

8 hours is the healthy amount , however it depends on my mood .
