Is there anything else that can help hayfever?

My hayfever has been really bad this year, i started taking allergy tablets and they make me drowsy and i don't want to keep feeling like that. Is there anything else i could take that doesn't give make me drowsy?

Nasal sprays are better than antihistamine tablets keep your windows closed at night, if it’s really bothering you, your GP can prescribe a stronger spray

Thing is i always sleep with the window open i can’t sleep without it open (even in winter)

I don't have hayfever myself but I think in some cases it does help (mostly if your throat is affected by it)

I have pretty bad hayfever and had all sorts off the doctor but as LaLa and Josy said honey really works but it has to be local.

I also use a doctor prescribed spray and just last year I started using barrier balm, it's amazing, I dab it on my nose and eyes (under eye, just incase you sweat and it gets in your eyes) it was about £5

There are non-drowsy antihistamines...

Other than that "nasal douching" with saline can help but it feels ****ing horrendous.

My hayfever hasn't happened at all this year so I can only assume that I am CURED . I usually get itchy eyes/puffy tear ducts and nasal irritation so bad that it causes nosebleeds . Nothing this year though .

wash your face regularly, also you could invest in an air filter and activate it in a small room. If you have somewhere you can escape to for a few minutes it helps a lot.

I used to suffer from hay fever terribly, but it does reduce as you get older until it finally disappears. You wont see many old folks with hay fever
