Default Woman wins $1M Jackpot twice in 10 weeks.

I'm feeling pretty jealous right about now.

I used to find that regular players would win the Irish Lotto in little "batches" - win nothing for years and then get it twice in the space of a month or two. Granted, that's a £700 win not $1million but the same randomness principle applies... If you win the lottery, you have as much chance of winning again the next week as any other draw.

Note that this is not the same as saying you have high odds of winning twice in a row PRIOR to the first win.

…I’m addicted to My Lottery Dream Home ….David Bromstad is such a lovely presenter and it’s just so joyful to see people looking at potential homes, that they’ve never been able to consider before ….…hopefully we’ll see this lady on there…Christine, is it…?…she can buy twice the house that she thought she could…

Some people get all the luck. I've put that EuroMillions on for 3 years and all I've ever 'won' was £2.28.

The one 'game' I've had most 'luck' with is Set For Life which I've 'won' a few fivers. But everytime I get an email saying 'Gusto, you've won a prize', I know it'll only be £5.

And I know someone else would have picked up the £10,000 a month for 30 years top prize.

It's always someone else and not me.

I seem to recall that on the very first National Lottery draw we won £30 .. 3 numbers I think and we were hooked forever

Interestingly loads of people we knew also won a tenner or more

Nothing since !!!!

How very odd !!
