Had developed quite a soft spot for Slavia thanks to Soucek and Coufal but this has completely tarnished it, their attempts to cover it up and deny it just make it worse

I mean obviously there's no place for things like this in any professional sport, but I don't think you can really talk about what is and isn't acceptable language, in reference to Rangers, without mentioning the elephant in the room (which is that as yet they've been unable to address the rampant sectarianism in their own support base).

I don't think the two things are really that inextricably linked

Unless there's Proof, then this is a non starter. That video evidence isn't proving anything.

Does the referee have a microphone on his shirt? If so, did it pick anything up?

So far, this wouldn't hold up in a court of law.

I don't think people in general do, I think it's a bit hypocritical of the club itself and the fan base to feign outrage whilst habitually sweeping bigotry-by-the-bucketload under the carpet year after year. But alienating your own fans is bad for business, I guess.
