Apple iWatch

Hoping to get a newer version in the coming days so my current one will become the spare and used for every day use and the new one for best/ special occasions .

Amazing watches - practicality indestructible and so reliable

So currently on the face -

The instant options include the time , day and date ( good start ) plus phone calls , text messages , WhatsApp , Shazam and heart-rate .

Oh and Apple Pay with double click and a seemingly endless list of other options with a single click

I wear a Garmin (venu square). Never wore a watch in my life until getting this a couple years ago and now can't imagine being without it for it's running features, sleep tracking and general health data. Its linked to my phone but I block the vast majority of notifications as I have no interest in getting WhatsApps and other messages on there

…I wore my mom’s watch for a while but didn’t feel as though it was for me in terms of comfort and feeling right…it was her watch, her style etc …..and that’s fine, I keep it in its case now but never wear it…(…or any watch…)…I did have a gorgeous vintage watch, which was bought for me as a special gift but I passed it down to a family member…

Funnily enough I didn't wear a watch for many many years.

But a couple of weeks ago, I bought a retro 1977 digital watch off Ebay for £3.99.

I used to have a Casio TV remote watch !!

It had all the obvious features but it’s main selling point was allowing you to change channels on any TV and put the volume and down plus turn the colour down to black and white then back to full colour

I rarely used it for its intended purpose but I used to change the stations on the tvs on TV shop window displays on a Saturday if I wanted to see the football results and occasionally gradually turn the telly down to black and white in a friend’s house without the viewer realising .

What about those pocket TVs. They were absolute rubbish. My dad won one from a competition on a satellite magazine. It boasted its color screen. But it couldn't pick up a signal and was a complete waste of time.
