Before they went in Big Brother I had heard of them all except for Gareth Thomas. But I think my order represents how well known they are in general (internationally and in the UK) but I wasn't sure about the order of the top two.

Mike is not a washed up celebrity that hasn't had work in years, he's quite current person on TV which is why i think loads of people think he's really famous. Overall the most famous person C5 signed was Michael followed by Tara. Mike is 3rd on my list though, i'm surprised he wasn't heavily rumoured tbh.

Tbqh though, Channel 5 have probably had bigger Celebrities than Channel 4.

Getting Vinnie Jones was the biggest CH4 had ever got.

But this is probably because on Channel 4, Summer Big Brother was their main priority [as it should be] and they weren't too bothered about wasting their money on Celebrities - Channel 5 is a different story.

I almost said Dirk Benedict too, was so surprised and happy when he walked in CBB5. Michael Madsen was a big surprise and never thought Martin Kemp would do it. Thought it would just end up being another one of those rumours that end up being untrue.
