I have a very systemised process; I turn the radio on, lie on the right side of the bed, then I switch to the left side so that I'm nearer the radio and can hear it better, then I doze off, wake up again and turn the radio off, then switch back to the right side

(only have a single bed though so it's more just which side I face)
