Has Sam ever received a warning? Sexual harresment in the work place is not acceptable and even worse a guest to the house has been the target on more than one occasion. The first time should have received a warning subsequently in the real world this would have been the outcome.

I'm not buying for one minute that most the people posting on this thread live the sheltered and cossetted little lives they are trying to make us believe with their faux outrage. Otherwise, how would you get through a series of Big Brother if Sam - SAM! - is upsetting you with his naughty words?

Just levelling the playing field here, Sam has been painted out to be perfect, a saint, can do no wrong...I think it's fair that there are negative threads about him like there has been for EVERY OTHER HM.

BTW, I like the ladies and flirt, but have never used the rather disgusting word "gash" to a woman.

I'm not a fan of Sam, not at all. However, I think the depths that have been reached in searching for something negative has made some of the posters look a little silly, frankly. Consider some of the things that have been said and done and some of the characters that have been in BB, even just this season... and picking on Sam seems a little... desperate.

Yes, "gash" isn't a word I particularly go out of my way to use... but if I heard someone say it, I wouldn't dash tearfully for the exit with my hands over my face. Worse language is used on this forum on a daily basis.

My problem with Sam's remarks is not content as much as context. Just like people have different "voices" they use whether they're talking to their parent or their friends or their employer, there are different levels of acceptability in behavior. Sam seems to feel he has the right to speak to everyone in the same manner he'd speak in a locker room. Nobody has taught him otherwise, but instead of coddling and thinking "oh, isn't he silly," he should be corrected for that behavior, whether it's the women in the house telling him it's not ok, or BB calling him up for it.

I wonder how many of the people saying it's no big deal would feel the same if it was their mother or their daughter being chased around in the workplace by some strange man making crude comments to her or forcing her to kiss him.
