Yes, "gash" isn't a word I particularly go out of my way to use... but if I heard someone say it, I wouldn't dash tearfully for the exit with my hands over my face. Worse language is used on this forum on a daily basis.

My annoyance here is that Dexter hasn't said anything quite that bad and yet one tiny comment he makes and he gets slaughtered for it, same with any of the other HM's...Sam's crude remarks might not be the worst in history and doesn't make him a hate figure but it does show that he is no better than any of the others in the house.
