Default Opinions on this...
A couple decided to commit suicide after going through a really hard time so they decided to jump off a building. When they got to the top, they counted to 3 before jumping.

The woman jumped but the man stayed. He watched her fall for 8 seconds then saw her pull a parachute.....

Did a bird give her the parachute on the way down or something? You don't just whip a parachute out of your pocket, she would have had the gear strapped onto her when they stood at the top... So more fool him for not noticing I suppose.

She waited eight seconds before she deployed... he'd never catch her. And after eight seconds her parachute probably wouldn't have properly deployed before she hit the ground so she could end up with life changing injuries if, indeed, she survived... so it all worked out well in the end.
