Oh my god yes please. I actively avoid going into that section now because of the ridiculous amount of trump threads. I only click on a SD thread if its in the 'new threads' bit. We seem to have a new thread each time trump farts. Its a little silly. yes he is an important person at the moment but ffs enough is enough...

I don't think we need to consolidate all news into one thread. People (namely me) can't be arsed reading all of the "Popstar Appreciation Threads" for any news on them as it is.

Just be grateful that forum is active.

However, there are users that will make multiple threads on the same subject because of their infatuation with their own ego. See: Liberty4eva (pretty much every thread he's ever made, but in particular this most recent one about Sweden)

I agree, and it doesn't mean she doesn't read SD either. It's not an exclusive club.

Most Trump threads do end up being about the same thing and you realise about halfway down a page you're reading the same comments you've read in another thread so I support this idea!

In all seriousness though why don't we get Shaun to put all his music reviews in one thread, and all the chat stuff can go in one thread too, lets put all game chat into one thread, let the buggers scroll through reams of stuff to find what they are looking for, I don't really see the issue SD gets on average 3 threads a day, its DEAD enough across the forum without cutting the number of threads made to the point that people log on and don't even see new threads/posts

I don't refuse to post at all; I don't even avoid it. If I have something to say, then I'll post it. Sadly though by the time I get the chance to read through the section, the threads I wish to post in have already drifted off-topic (as this thread has), or it has simply turned into a "baiting battle" between the usual suspects.
