Sue Radford from ‘The Radford Family’ has revealed she is pregnant with her 20th child.

The 42-year-old mum and her husband Noel, 45, who rose to fame on the TV show ‘16 Kids And Counting’, shared the news on Instagram.

The couple welcomed their 19th child, Phoebe, in July 2016 and have since filmed ‘19 Kids and Counting’ as Britain’s largest family.

The mum shared a photo of a blackboard on Wednesday 29 March that read: “Boys - 10, girls - 9 and BABY makes 20. Arriving Sept 2017.”


Radford’s 17,000 followers immediately sent over their well-wishes for the impending arrival.

“You lot are bloody amazing,” commented one person. “Congratulations - another girl to even out the numbers.”

Another wrote: “I just love this! I fear my body would fall apart with that many pregnancies and births but you were clearly born to do this. Congratulations.”

And another wrote: “This is awesome and so exciting. Hope there’s another documentary coming in the future.”

The couple revealed in July 2016, after welcoming their 19th child, that they didn’t think she would be their last.

“Our friends and family keep saying I should have another one to get an even number – so round it off to an even 20,” the mum told The Sun at the time.

“I can’t rule it out. At the moment I am happy to have Phoebe with us, she is healthy and a little stunner. We are over the moon to have her here.”

Radford said falling pregnant with her 19th child was a bit of a shock. Announcing the news in January 2016, she said it was a “huge surprise”, adding: “We were adamant that we wouldn’t have more.”

The couple are also parents to Chris, 28, Sophie, 22, Chloe, 21, Jack, 19, Daniel, 17, Luke, 15, Millie, 14, Katie, 13, James, 12, Ellie, 11, Aimee, 10, Josh, nine, Max, seven, Tilly, six, Oscar, four, Casper, three and toddler Hallie.

The couple had their first child, now 28, when Sue Radford was just 14. The couple also have three grandchildren.

I was told my great grandmother had 16 children and whilst she lived well into her 90s, her husband died before he reached 50... probably from stress. My grandmother was one of the youngest and says she remembers very little about her mum and dad as a child because it was her elder siblings who brought her up.

Whilst I love big families, I have a huge extended family, I think that so many brothers and sisters would ensure you didn't get much alone time with your actual parents and I believe alone time with mum and dad is very special. I also can't imagine having brothers and sisters twenty years older or younger than me but I suppose to them it feels perfectly natural.

I haven't seen the video but I'm going to make a point of watching it.

There are no rights and wrongs in how many kids you have, its down to the parental choice, you often find only children go on to have big families as they hated being on their own, and children from big families go on to have no children or just one as they hated being in a large group and sometimes it works the other way as well. My sister in law is from a large family there were 11 of them, I am often envious of the large extended family she has, on the other hand I'm sure it can have its downsides as well, swings and roundabouts if you will

I've just watched a shortened version of their documentary and I was amazed how firm her stomach was considering she's had so many children.

What an fabulous family. They are just a down to earth functional couple with big hearts.

20? omg I'm exhausted just thinking about their daily routine, and oh man, she must have a strong heart to be able to go through all those births. After 6 I would be like..........not tonight dear, I have a headache. Great that they provide for them themselves without asking for handouts

I have grave doubts they will go through their lives without milking the system, either way 15 years pregnant is unreal she must be built like a truck
