This thread was bound to pop up at some point, it happens every year dating as far back as series 2 with Chico

The way I see it is if other acts don't have the support to beat the novelty acts then there is no way they'll be able to sustain a career in the real world

John's boring, an ultimate lounge singer at best, background noise. Wagner's a bit of fun and provided more entertainment then John ever did and if you can't hold an audience you can't have a career in this business.

i have to agree with this,wagner is funny but not as funny as his being made out to be and john and treyc should have beat no direction and cher bored.

It will be interesting if he stays over one of the favorites (rebecca, matt, cher, one direction, aiden) but it's not such fun to see the underdogs like john leaving who can sing being knocked off by wagner. No one will buy his music, the most he can hope for is a few months on the z list party circuit.

I could say the same thing about Cher who's been distinctly underwhelming vocally so far. He's entertaining and, as unfair as it is that he's survived over an act who can genuinely sing well, you need to be able to hold an audience's attention to be successful which Wagner at least achieves.

You can have a great voice(which John doesnt even btw) but you need more than that to get peoples votes.

Like Tom said, if you can't beat the crap acts at this early stage of the comp then you have no chance in the real world. Its dog eat dog out there.
