Like if I went in it, I'd literally be perfectly happy with a ******ing Kit Kat as a reward if I won.

I wouldn't care if the prize was 3 Million Pound, I honestly can put my hand on heart and say that.

All I would want is the experience, just to live in the house, do the tasks, talk to the housemates, live the twists etc

It's basically something money can't buy.

I think there's very very very few housemates that would do it for the experience, alot of the housemates from the early series like up to about BB7, are actually very rude when it comes to Big Brother.

Alot of them, even people who won the show, [Craig, Kate, Nadia] put it down constantly.

Yep definitely. Just being able to be in the Big Brother house in itself would be like winning for me tbh. To be a housemate on your favourite show and get the whole experience, like you said, money just can't buy that.

In BB AUS, they leave the house open for a few months after the show ends, and members of the public get to go in and have a look around, take pictures etc.

I would love if that happened here.

Nobody goes into BB for the prize fund, maybe the money from magazine deals, but i don't think anybody goes in thinking they will win.

The first few years of bb i seriously considered auditioning but life got in the way, more than happy now to watch other people without getting tempted to audition but if i had then or ever changed my mind now, it would have been for the experience, a personal challenge to see how i personally coped etc

id die to go in just for the experience. i wouldn't care about the money but its not like id turn it down. however i wouldn't do loads of magazine deals, i mean i havent been offered them so i wouldnt know but id never do loads. i would possibly do one or two if i got a high place just because i know people liked me but other than that id absolutely love to be in there even just for a day. dont care about fame or money id do it because i love bb. i could just imagine sitting in the diary room. ahh heaven

I would pay to go in there! I don't think I'd win though - Unless the majority of the public stop being t**** and start to like real and entertaining people instead of fake boring people, if do change I'd win 100%.. but they won't.

I don't think anybody does it primariliy to win the prize money. They do it either for the experience or to become some kind of celebrity. Even being a minor celebrity is a big enough deal for most.

And they know that they can potentially make money regardless of actually winning anyways. You can't go in there just to win because there are too many factors involved and there is no foolproof winning strategy. Viewers or HMs may just not like you.

Just to say I was a BB housemate is a prize fund for me. No prize fund wouldn't bother me.

I do think prize money is important though. Most of them seem to want to leave at some point. But as it gets towards the end I think the prize money suddenly becomes a factor in encouraging them to stay. Its an added incentive. If it were not there I think many more would quit early, especially nearer the end. They would want to be out there enjoying the fame and making money whilst it were still on TV.

The £500k prize will certainly keep them in there!
