It's not confirmed though that a new theme is being made. It could just be a remix of the original.

I'm the first to say '****** off with your gay little petitions' to fans when they try and make things like 'Let's get Ife back in the house!' and 'Lets bring BB Back!' and all that bollocks.

But in all honstly;
A Petition could be a good way to go here if you think about it - Channel 5 aren't like Channel 4 in the sense they aren't up their own arses and I imagine they'll want to get everything right, so if they see hundreds of true fans pissed off about it they could easily consider keeping the Main Theme, especially because they haven't even decided with Endemol whether or not they're changing it.

So a petition could sway them in the right direction to keep the theme.

Love the news about the eye but i would like the theme tune to stay or at least be re-vamped a bit so that we can still recognise it.It is not confirmed that the theme tune will go tho and could just be the DS creating hype again as the auditions wont be long in being announced.

They better not give us some slow cheesy soap opera music with the titles being pictures of the housemates popping up looking all happy. If they're gonna change the theme tune then at least keep the tune fast so we can have the same kind of titles we usually have!

Agree with the dude above.

The whole reason everyone across the world laughs at BBUSA is because of how Soap Opera and Cheesy it is ala the Titles.

I would cut myself if they make our titles like that.

If they do change our theme, I'd rather it be like BBAUS or a very Trance kind of Party theme, that represents our version's vibe.
There was a line in Element 4 I loved as it just went with Big Brother; it's the line where the girl screams;

'You Rise To The Fame!'

So yeah I'd like a very good fast, catchy, party theme with some quick lyrics that relate to Big Brother in it, I'd also like it to have a FULL Version so it can have a Music Video or have a chance at entering the charts like Element 4 did back in 2000.

Honestly? It doesn't bother me, nor would them scrapping the eye. I'm just happy the show's back and actually welcome them starting from scratch.

Though I would personally rather basic elements like the theme and voiceover were kept the same for continuity and familiarity's sake.
