I need a form of ID for something important but my passport/birth certificate are locked away in my mum's filing cabinet and she's gone abroad for a month :/
Is there anywhere I can request a copy of birth certificate or passport or something? Last edited by Me. I Am Salman; 04-10-2013 at 09:21 AM. |

You can go to the Registry office and pay to get a copy of your Birth Certificate I think the copies are about a tenner though

Thank you so much I would have called my mum/asked my dad but then they'd ask like a thousand questions and it would just cause hassle

I've had to get copies of birth certs before and they never asked for any ID when I did, although it might be different over there

Glad it's been sorted Salman! My mum's the same... she still won't give me my national insurance card in case I lose it... despite the fact I've never lost anything important in my life and I bloody need the thing every time I move city and register with a new doctor!
