Louis Walsh is apparently considering axing two members of overpopulated boyband Stereo Kicks.

It seems 2014 is the year of indecisiveness when it comes to picking the acts for the current series of the show – both Louis and Cheryl Cole (Fernandez-Versini) really struggled to choose the correct people during the six chair challenge and were swapping contestants back and forwards like nobody's business at Boot Camp but the panel seemed pretty set on putting eight solo auditionees together to form da Kicks.

However, LouLou seems determined to change the line-up of the group to make them more appealing to the voting public after they ended up in the sing-off against Chloe-Jasmine Whichello during Sunday night’s results show.

He told The Xtra Factor: “I didn’t connect with the band – Simon’s the one who put eight in the band. I didn’t put eight in the band.

“I’m going to have to talk to the boys.”

But when Xtra Factor host Sarah Jane Crawford quizzed Louis on whether he actually had the power to commit such a dastardly act he wasn’t prepared to give much away.

He joked: “I’m not telling you… someone might be watching.”

Well, this all seems rather harsh. Does The Walsh not realise that one member of the band was crying so hard that his actual eyeballs almost fell out of their sockets live on television after performing during the sing-off?

Well considering it's a singing competition, the singers should be kept in the group.. although saying that, something seemed to work for 1D
