Are you one of those (women generally ) who books their appointment ages in advance at a ridiculous price and treats it like a big event, or do you just rock along whenever to the nearest and cheapest place for a quick trim. Do you enjoy making small talk with the person cutting your hair as well or prefer it to be quiet.

I'm a pretty conservative person in general so like to stick to what I know, always go to the same old boy. Know what you're getting there; average haircut, average price, average conversation. If I'm at Uni though then I'll just try and find somewhere that looks like a simple back street joint rather than any poncey 'male grooming salon' like half the places seem to be these days.
