What do you think God's view on homosexuality is?

We've all heard of Leviticus 18:22. But in fairness, God is not a prejudice and I am sure GOD LOVES EVERYONE. In the Bible it also states God created man in his image, I presume God isn't superficial so therefore God must be partly gay, controversial I know, but this is my interpretation of God and how I choose to follow him...

Discuss.

I'm not really a practicing Christian, but didn't Jesus tell everyone to disregard a lot of the weird arbitrary rules set out in the Old Testament? Leviticus also doesn't permit people to wear clothing of more than one fabric (ie polyester). I don't see fundamentalists moaning about that. It's just a social taboo dressed up in religious platitudes.

If there is a god I dont think he gives a monkeys if you are gay or straight.

The bible was put onto paper by men, its their view that is echoed within. They didnt like things out of the ordinary, they wanted their religion to breed to provide more followers for their god, for their tribe etc. Hence the idea homosexuality was against gods plans.

God loves people enough to tell them not to do unnatural things for which their bodies, their physiology, their psychology was not intended to be doing.
Even if you don't go along with the intended purpose then don't blame the Maker for letting you know up front.

If you think they are born gay then you are making a strong argument for some kind of retardation or medical problem:
- Either they were born with the right brain but wrong genitals,
or,
- maybe born with something wrong with their brain.

Lesbians have a terrible deformity then.. useless breasts and a lot of indoor plumbing that takes up a lot of energy for no reason?

Why would the gays have sperm production? Do you figure that is a deformity in them?

So 10% of the 6.7 billion have a retardation? It's no more a retardation than Ginger hair or being left-handed. People have been gay since the beginning of time, but it's a more open society nowadays, being white is technically a 'retardation' as humans are supposed to be black. As for your right brain wrong genitals argument, that is transsexualism and a different topic, gay people have no desire to be of the other gender. Lesbians do not have useless breasts, they still work but they may not be put to personal use same for the sperm of gay men, but I may refer you to surrogate mothers and sperm donation, both of these still render a purpose, unlike your brain which has difficulty breaking out of the medieval view point.

We do know that homosexuality appears throughout the recorded history of human civilization including gangs who would go about raping and murdering men.

The medieval period was a great time of medical advances, scientific advancement and progressive understanding of the natural world around us,
