The usual misogynistic, sexist crap that blokes come out with to justify their bad behaviour and big themselves up. He came out with a fair bit of medieval drivel.
How sad that men still feel the need to feel superior to the other half of the human race. ![]()

![]() As recently as the 1970s women were not allowed to take out a mortgage in their own right - they had to have a male guarantor! And women have had to fight hard to earn the same wage as a man doing the exact same job! With such outrageous oppression by the physically (but not much else) male population, women have a lot of ground to make up considering men have been strutting about calling the shots for several thousand years, having had the benefit of independence of action and thought, education, and the freedom to shag around as much as they like. Unsurprising then that women have had little opportunity to exert as much influence, so that argument is a massive fail. Women now have access to the same opportunities that men have ALWAYS enjoyed and had this been the case from time immemorial the sexes would be equal in terms of achievements, influence and power. The fact that women are not TREATED equally, does not mean they are unequal - there is a difference.

![]() But, IMO, part of the reason why women are labelled 'slags' when they sleep around, but men aren't - is pretty much because women appear to care far more about what other people are doing with their lives than what men do. To be quite honest, I couldn't give a flying ***** whether someone shagged a thousand people in a week - it makes no difference to me and doesn't make them a 'slag' at all. But in most women's eyes [not all] it does. Why? I don't know. Maybe it's jealousy, or maybe they're just too interested in what other people are doing. But whatever it is, IMO, women generally have themselves to blame for that unfairness. Most of the time it's women throwing the word 'slag' around, not men. |

Because he is old fashioned, does not mean he thinks its RIGHT men rule the world but society does think like this.
There is so many thick people in the UK who actually thought Stacey was right in an argument when she didn't raise a good point. Linford was the only one who actually spoke a lot of sense in what he said about society judging women differently from men when it comes to sex with different men/women. |

Linford isn't right in the head lol. He justifies what he does (behaving like a male slag) by blaming girls who do the same thing. Two wrongs are just as bad as one another......as Stacey said.

With regards to men being able to sleep around etc.
If a key opens lots of locks, it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a ****ty lock. ![]() Last edited by MTVN; 19-11-2010 at 05:32 PM. |

I think he was right at the end bit of his argument, suggesting it's society's view. But he started it of by say, "I know I'm old fashioned but ... " indicating he believed that too.
I think he's entitled to hold an opinion. You would have to take in his age and upbringing, but I can't share it. A girl who sleeps around isn't really respecting her body and self-worth, and neither is a boy that does the same thing. Personal relationships are like the food you eat. It's better when it's wholesome, when it means something and is good for you. |
