You are 50% more likely to have a heart attack if you have less than 6 hours of sleep at night.. or if you go to bed late but get up early :S Think I am ****ed then!! lol

You are also 15% more likely to get a stroke if you sleep this little as well.

Eeek.

I rarely sleep less than 10 hours a night, so this news shouldnt affect me too much.

Lol sometimes I sleep the recommended amount. However last night I only got a few hours sleep. I woke up at 8:30am. I couldn't get back to sleep :S I went to bed about 5am. Sometimes my brain feels so stiff that I just can't sleep!

Im the most useless lazy bastard on the face of the planet, I dont sleep more because if I sleep too early I feel that Im wasting my life, and I need to wake up at 05:30 because of the *********g college.

I could easily sleep 12 hours a night but I dont because I dont want to be in my 60s and come to the conclusion I slept half of my life.

Now combine that with the tens of millions of other articles penned stating % this and % that for various lifestyle habits and do the math.

You need to look at the whole picture. And not take things like this on an ultra literal level.

True. I do Stu. I do things in moderation anyway. It's just an excuse to try and aim to get more sleep really. Eventhough like I have said before... when we "die" we will get all the sleep we need. I need enough to function though. When I go to work and that.

I dont trust this, different people require different amounts of sleep and 6 hours can be fine for some

I remember Angel from BB10 only had 4 hours of sleep a night and she must be like 30 something at least, so :')

you'd be a paranoid wreck and never go out if you took notice of statistics like this.

Ive never heard about lack of sleep contributing to heart attacks but I guess it makes sense that anxious and stressed people generally sleep less.

I always knew I would die of a Heart Attack eventually [lol that sounds as if i died the other day]


-I Add a bucket load of salt to everything, even fry ups.

Meh, if we went by what the experts say we would all be sleeping 10 hours, eating nothing but fruit and veg, excercising for a few hours a day...and drinking nothing but water.

Though Im sure they have found something harmful in all of the above also

Ey I heard carrots is meant to give you cancer. All rubbish I suppose. I think the message is.. at least get some "sleep". However some people can't just sleep for 10 years. Plenty of people have a lot of things to do! lol
