Default do women over exaggerate?

Is the pain during childbirth really THAT bad?
Could men take the pain more easily?
Sure, it probably does hurt somewhat, but is it excruciating?
Think of girls on a rollercoaster...they all scream.....why?
Are they over exaggerating their fear?
Guys don't scream like a banshee do they
What about women who are into bondage and S&M, can they handle the pain better?
How about the "period", is that over exaggerated too? Maybe its just used as an excuse to be angry and vent steam to their partners
Does culture have any relevance? Do some cultures feel the pain more than others or is it universal?

I'm pretty sure anyone would complain if they had to wait for their vagina to stretch to 10 cm's wide, push out a 7lb baby and then go through the after birth.

The head of a baby is designed to squash down and then 'fix' itself when it comes out

Even so, its something large coming out of something very small (in most cases )

And is the reason you said above also the reason why babies heads are always oddly soft? I always thought they had the soft spot because their skulls just hadnt formed properly yet.

Its the same point, a skull doesn't set until a baby is outside so it squashes when it comes out. Its why people can get deformed heads if they come out in a weird way or why some people get cone heads when their mum needs help from a hoover

i read somewhere once that humans went through an almost amphibious phase of evolution several million years ago

they started to spend a lot of time in lakes and swamps, to escape the many predators roaming africa

and it was during this time that our ancestors first stood erect, because they had to always keep their head above water/marshland

so maybe back then millions of years ago, the women gave birth under water

pregnant women back then would probably be like chubby hippos

Men sneeze and they have double pneumonia. Scientists and researchers claim that most men would not live through the pain of childbirth.

Do men generalise?
Are all women the same?
Do you think, squeezing a baby out your nether regions would hurt?
Do you think a Doctor would inject an epidural into a womens spine just to humour her?
Are you single?

Quite obviously you've not been kicked hard enough.

I'm happy to volunteer to prove it to you.

I think it's one of those things that when you experience it is a really bad pain but you kinda mysteriously forget all about it later on, it depends an awful lot on the staff around at the time too

Haven't been through it myself, but it's like any pain I believe: we 'recall it being painful', but cannot recreate the actual feeling of the pain level itself.

I actually remember exactly how it felt. I was terrified when I went into to labour for the second time cos I remembered exactly what the first felt like
