Well since we're all doing it

Joshua has been having an affair with Amy, who has been going out with Michael for about 8 months now. Eventually Amy acknowledges that what she is doing is wrong so she breaks up with Michael but also breaks up with Joshua. She then starts going out with Joshua's flat mate and best friend, Tom, who has absolutely no idea that Joshua and Amy were ever sleeping together. She is doing this specifically to hurt Joshua's feelings. Joshua is deeply hurt by this. What should Joshua do? Should he tell Tom what happened between him and Amy, risking his friendship with Tom with wider ramifications including Michael finding out; also potentially ruining Tom and Amy's relationship and potentially causing a lot of upset and nobody believing him; or should Joshua keep quiet and accept Amy hurting him in order to appear to be happy for Tom even though he knows Amy isn't being genuine?
