Ashleigh was supposed to go in the 4 way last Friday. That is why Marlon was given immunity. Remove the public vote and BB can get rid of her and there is nothing the public can do about it apart from throw their toys out the pram.
Get rid of Marlon few days before in the same way as a test run so people cannot be as outraged for Friday.

I think you're over thinking it, why would they care if she won? I don't think they do, if they have people they think are more marketable, they don't need them to win to market them. Look at Sam for example, he won, but they still give Dexter and Gina more publicity. Also, as much I like Ashleigh I don't think she has a chance in hell of winning over Mark, Winston or the 2 Chris'.

We don't know how popular Mark and Winston are with the normal public. They are BB's faves but what do the rest of the nation think of them? At times they have both been funny, but they have also been total knobs as well. Ashleigh is no1 fave on all the polls for past 2 weeks, Chris 2nd. Suppose I was right and they want Ashleigh gone because she is popular and could win and they don't want that. That proves she is very popular with general public. They see the voting numbers for all the evictions.

I get the impression Mark and Winston are popular with the general public from their crowd reaction and how they were both saved when they were up, where as Ashleigh was down to the last two when Jale was evicted.

Either way, lets just assume that Ashleigh is now the publics favourite for arguments sake. Why would BB producers be so against her winning? What reason do you have for that? What does the winner actually do anymore anyway? Not much is the answer, so why on Earth would it bother them? And tbf if they were looking for a poster girl/boy, why not Ashleigh? She's a beautiful, young girl?

They will have their favourites, but I agree that they don't care. But this has been blatantly set up to get Ashleigh out and imo it is being done to rub a certain kind of viewers (people who go on the fan sites and forums) face in it.

It's not really a given that they'd go for Ashleigh tbf, Danielle is also a viable option as is Steven and Kim

It's the easiest and most obvious option. And it always has been. Hence them doing it.

And if the production team didn't have a problem with Steven going out they would have done what they said they were going to do and put everyone up for eviction.
