Does the ice cream van still come around your area?

Where I used to live they were around numerous times a day every day.

Where I live now you are lucky to see one twice a year

Because we are a village though we have lots of mobile vans like..

The Butcher Van
2 Chippy Vans
The Bakers Van
The Ice Cream Van (When they decide to appear)
The Mobile Library Van
The Fish Van

Used to come down our road every summer but it hasn't been down this year, it came in February last year for some reason.

We get no vans, just delivery

Going to the icy was a staple for me when i was wee and the fruit and veg van as he sold sweets too.

I used to get lucky bags and pan drops and a double wafer with monkeys blood.

That's not proper Rossi ice-cream, that's more like a Mr Whippy or Softy. You will have to have words with him Rossi ice cream doesn't come out of ice cream machines like those in his van, and it has pieces of ice in it. Rossi, the best ice-cream on this planet apart from Rum and Raisin

Yeah and we have a fruit/veg van and a chippy van but oddly enough so many people think the latter is a strange concept around here.. I've never known there not to be a chippy van

We had one today playing La Bamba, i thought "that's weird kids are at school?" Thinking it was an ice cream van, Had a look and it was a scrap van! We also have one with a horrid out of tune trumpet noise!

You just have to be careful not to leave your bike on the front, a friend left his bike on the front and they took it! He had to chase them down the street and ask them to get it off their van

Vans are not allowed in the streets around my area as we have a championship winning ice cream shop down the road - every thing ya loved as a kid - they sell - plus you can buy all the ice creams in litre sizes and sorbets, they also do a fabulous ice cream cake which is great for xmas and birthdays, also all the bottles of sauce and bags of toppings , flakes & cornets - Just about everything - all the old fashioned sweets and mix ups.

Ice Cream Van comes down my road every day, which is annoying 'cos it makes my dogs bark every single time

We do have an ice cream van but he's very inconsistent, seems to actually come more regularly in the winter as well for some reason. He's the only van we have as well, think a fish and chip one used to come but probably not enough money in it round here these days

I can hear an ice cream van driving outside my window on Sunday's in the summer, there's a fast food van and a butchers van in my town.
