But I don't trust because Ashleigh destroyed everyone in Twitter and Facebook likes on the day of the final and she came 2nd

Actually Helen was doing very well this time last year on facebook and twitter. There was definitely a late surge.

If anything Ashleigh's support is much more similar to Joel's and I suspect Joel is not nearly as heavily supported as Ashleigh was. Joel's popularity seems to me to be based on Marc's supporters looking for someone to get behind, but I doubt people who like Marc bother voting much, especially when it's second choice.

Wasn't Deana causing a storm on social media and online forums but she only came 3rd? I think she was favourite to win as well.

I'd love it if Chloe won but I really don't see it happening.

Oh wow really, they definitely nailed the Sam vs Gina vs Dexter. I think they called the exact top 5 in order too so its probably still a good indication.

To put that in perspective, she's further ahead of Joel than Ashleigh ever was of Helen and Ashleigh's support was overestimatd by forums and fansites (much like Joel's probably is)

I know, but even if you look at last year's statistics they are all over the place. I just don't trust Facebook, or any social media in fact.

Charlie also ahead of the Twins. Even so, Chloe's lead is big and she has done well on polls such as Tellymix and BB Spy given that it's usually Digital Spy/TIBB types that vote on those.
