Do you get anything from your work for xmas?

So far this week I've been given

Box of milk tray
Bath bombs
Perfume gift set
Bottle of chardonnay
Bottle of merlot
Tub of Quality Street

I've got 5 gifts, three are in gift bags, one is a mysterious squishy shape, and one is obviously a bottle of wine, I will open on 25th Josy

Yeah my bottles are in gift bags under my tree but the weren't sealed so I can see what they are

No I've never bought for any of my colleagues, I get on with them mostly but they're not the kind of people I'd associate myself with outside of work or spend my money on.

I think its ridiculous and just a reaction to marketing and advertising. It in fact cheapens Christmas and dilutes it. Christmas is for family not for work colleagues

I think that's rubbish tbh some people would class thier friends as part of thier family and sometimes gifts from work are to show the people that give them appreciate what you do for them throughout the year.
