Actually I think I'm changing my mind, Austin is more recent so probably feels more fresh, Austin was a vile twat towards Janice and made the final purely for fancying a guy who didn't care, where as for 4 weeks James and his minions (including Mrs Pratt) bullied Gary.

For me, what swings it is that James seems to understand he's a massive twat (and yet still acts like one. I guess leopards don't change their spots if they're being paid an extortionate amount of money to do it) whereas I think Austin genuinely believes that he's a Good Person and goes around doing his terrible **** under that assumption, especially considering that "dark cloud" Diary Room of his last night, and delusion on that level is never pretty*

*unless it involves Gemma Collins

Yeah pretty much

James is open about how much of a ****-stirrer he is. And although I still hate him, he's honest to the public about why he's there. Whereas Austin probably does think he's God's gift and a gay icon.

I completely get why people dislike Austin and I don't think he's an angel. But James just seems to revel in his nastiness and wear it as a badge of honour. He's proven himself to be a smug twat outside of the house (both on Twitter and on BOTS) and is an even bigger one inside the house. I also hate how he throws around the "wind-up merchant" card as justification for being a prick. I hate that type of the housemate anyway and he seems to get more enjoyment of being nasty than Austin does, even if he is honest about it. In a way, he's just a more vitriolic (albeit not as overbearing) version of Bear/Marc.
