I'm in a generous mood so I'm going to credit you with the possibility that you didn't mean for this post to sound quite as idiotic as it does.

That house is filled with quite a lot of unpleasant characters and Raph is by far the most genuine and least aggressive in there. THAT is why he's popular. He may not be having rows all the time, coming out with cracking quotes and one liners (yet, we are only just going into week 3 after all) but he's a nice guy that in a house full of reality rejects and shallow model types is quite refreshing and identifiable to watch.
I've been on this forum since 2009 and I can't remember having a single exchange of posts with him and I still have him down as my winner.

Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. If one of your friends went on x factor and butchered a song, would you lie to yourself and to them by telling them how great they were? or be honest with them and tell them they sucked, and singing simply ain't for them. He seems a decent enough lad but he's an extremely uninteresting HM. He'd have been much better off on the US/CAN version..

If "being a good housemate" were as clearcut and easily definable as "having a good voice on the X Factor" you'd have a point but the fact is Big Brother is open to all sorts of interpretation and he's coming across as a relatively nice guy with a touch of popularity. Also The X Factor has alot of different variables than just one good or bad performance in itself, so a show like Big Brother will interpreted in alot more different ways as people like different personalities, we're not all a hive and that goes for straight or LGBT.
