Come on man, the boy is a pretty hopeless HM. He's about on a par with those rubbish sisters

So he's a member? big deal? Does that mean people "must" give him silly praise when it's clearly unwarranted?

Yes. I can't imagine the 100% adulation I'd get if I were in there.

No one's asking you to do that, feel free to criticise him as a housemate and/or praise the others.
I wouldn't just write it off as a 'TiBB Thing' though because he's gaining a lot of traction elsewhere.

"he's gaining a lot of traction elsewhere." No doubt from the LGBT community? Again, ridiculous.

That house is filled with quite a lot of unpleasant characters and Raph is by far the most genuine and least aggressive in there. THAT is why he's popular. He may not be having rows all the time, coming out with cracking quotes and one liners (yet, we are only just going into week 3 after all) but he's a nice guy that in a house full of reality rejects and shallow model types is quite refreshing and identifiable to watch. I've been on this forum since 2009 and I can't remember having a single exchange of posts with him and I still have him down as my winner.

"Raph is by far the most genuine" iyBo. Anyone judging from a neutral vp could never concur. More shyte-stirring from Raphy on the latest ep, more "divide" talk etc.. Soon he'll be in the DR drawing us pictures, pointing out all the "baddies" in a good vs evil tale.. |

Really? That's a big statement to make about someone you don't know.

He's said he was gay on here for years so if he made up it wasn't just for BB.......... I don't think being gay is a good game plan anyway, isn't Brian Dowling from way back in BB2 the only ever gay winner?

Fromm civilian I meant but still even counting him that's only two out of all the shows, so it's not a great game plan anyway

What does it matter if it is LGBT? Are they not allowed to have favourites?

TiBB favourite, Digital Spy favourite, currently storming the Tellymix eviction poll, and now the support seems to have spread to Twitter and Facebook. It's not just a TiBB thing now. A week ago, yeah. But not now.

Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. If one of your friends went on x factor and butchered a song, would you lie to yourself and to them by telling them how great they were? or be honest with them and tell them they sucked, and singing simply ain't for them. He seems a decent enough lad but he's an extremely uninteresting HM. He'd have been much better off on the US/CAN version..

If "being a good housemate" were as clearcut and easily definable as "having a good voice on the X Factor" you'd have a point but the fact is Big Brother is open to all sorts of interpretation and he's coming across as a relatively nice guy with a touch of popularity. Why is this surprising to you? lol
