Parties don't really have leaders in the US, and it's actually a good strategy to just stand back and watch republicans constantly throw up on themselves at every opportunity.

I hope Elizabeth Warren runs for president when the time comes but at the moment, the old maxim of "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake," rings more than true.

It really does make him that much more respectable in my book, to go against the grain and stick to his guns like this... he really does only care about those who "get it" ... I mean, right now it is not popular to be a conservative in Hollywood/mainstream and many of those live in secret ... but sometime in the future, when more folk come out of the woodwork in the mainstream media and rally against the bandwagon, what he's said in social media is going to be seen as a key moment... is my opinion of the whole thing.

Many folk are fickle I think when it comes to celebrity. Most reasons they have for "liking" others are largely superficial ones... but get right down to it, the knitty gritty.. and people find reasons to dislike someone if they no longer fit within some perceived box.

We see this kind of thing play out in CBB/BB sections every season... people like to think they're backing a "winner"... or at least someone who can maybe rise to that challenge... but then people also love to get behind a good underdog... so it's always interesting to see how those fandoms play out. Especially when pet issues or political narratives come into play... it's easy to see where people duck down when their fav is no longer one of the crowd favorite(s).
