Slug and Lettuce is in a different league to Weatherspoons. Like the Weathies themes day but curries are clearly microwaved, they are very fussy about changing an order - they really dont like it when you ask for something thats even just slightly different from the dish advertised - I know this is a policy and there a pisshead element to Weatherspoons too. Slug and Lettuce all day, for me.

Both crap for food but spoons is good for drinks however slug and lettuce is good for a night out

Wetherspoons because of how cheap the drinks are. Slug & Lettuce is really nice though and they an amazing Pina Colada

Slug do nicer drinks and there is music.

I like spoons dgmw, it's fun on an afternoon but I like music when I drink

Wetherspoons has cheaper drinks and their food is enjoyable despite the fact their menu has gone downhill massively

Every time I've been to Slug I've never enjoyed the food but yeah, can't knock the music and the atmosphere

With regards to the ‘music’ thing about Spoons, the big one in Manchester has three floors including a dance floor so I love that one. Otherwise, yeah **** if you want music and a dance.

Spoons as a non drinker the free tea and coffee refill make for a very cheap afternoon out
