Drink the Kool Aid
|
A woman has been accused of racial profiling after she asked a black man sitting in the passenger seat of a car and looking in its glovebox if he had stolen the vehicle. Stopping her bike on a leafy Bristol street, she walked up to the man to query the car's ownership - causing him to launch into an expletive-filled tirade. 'You think I'm robbing my own car because I'm black?', he shouts. 'Shut the ******* up and get out of here. Racist.' The woman responds that it is 'not about race' and that 'we have lots of car crime on this road'. The 60-second clip has gone viral on social media, and has been viewed more than 1.2million times. Its caption says the man was cleaning the seat when the woman approached him. watch the video here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...profiling.html ![]() ![]() |

Typical daily mail spin, she thought a black man cleaning his car was a thief, she’s a racist and I’m not surprised people get angry at people like her

Lol this is dumb.
People just want to call racism on a black person doing anything, which is really unfortunate. I'm still confused as to why it's fine to stereotype a white man for something though and not a black one lol... like genuinely. That is more racist than anything Last edited by caprimint; 23-08-2020 at 04:40 PM. |

Even if she genuinely thought he had what response did she expect? "Yes, maam. Would you like a lift?" |

The entitlement is real with this one, the fact that she believes she has the right to police strangers whenever she sees fit is pure white privilege, ‘just checking, just checking!’ She’s probably mad her favourite statue was chucked in the river

Speaking from personal experience I don't know why people always think whenever a young male (white or black) are anywhere near a car that they're trying to rob it, thankfully in my case my Dad showed up to prove my innocence. ![]() Basically unless they're blatantly trying to break into the Vehicle I leave the person alone.

True story.
Years ago broke down in my local town center outside a jewellers with a van with a dodgy starter motor Was in and out the van giving it a tap. To get it to started after about 10 minutes the owner of the jewellers came out and said I’ve just phoned the police saying you are going to rob us. |

If you think about it it was rather brave of her, or foolish as it could have ended badly if the youth was on the rob?

The press and media fuelling race hysteria, people from both sides falling into their hands. Sounds to me like a busy body poking her nose into other people's business when it's not wanted, or really warranted.
Sitting in the passenger side of your own car isn't that rare though, i used to do it all the time on my lunch break, a lot more leg room and no steering wheel in the way. And before anyone asks, no i wasn't ever approached or questioned by anyone being that i was on private property in the middle of East Sussex countryside.

One of the top DM comments at the mo
Billi the Fish, Gloucester, 20 minutes ago She was very brave looking out for her neighbours and so polite - he comes across as a very unpleasant man, I hope her confidence hasn't been shaken; I would love her as a neighbour! |
