Obviously from my own political perspective I agree with Vanessa, surely Labour couldn't do worse than this lot have.

That of course can't be known until they've had the chance.
However in my view a robot leading Labour surely couldn't possibly do worse than this inept, politically deceitful, lying PM we have right now.

Cons, well, the hard-line ones and closet hardline ones won't agree obviously.
I just hope the softer vote to the Cons from voters are waking up to how pathetic Johnson really is.

I'll leave it there as if I got really going, I'd be likely banned for what I'd like to say as to my thoughts about Johnson.

As I've said to you before.
There are many, in fact the majority of MPs who are dedicated people really wanting to serve their constituents properly and who are hard working..
From every single political party in existence.

The parliamentary system stinks where people are forced rigidly to follow party lines.
Or face consequences to their careers possibly.

To say every politician, may be your view but it's not the case.
I know obviously Labour MPs really dedicated and longing to make lives better for all.
Plus I know Con MPs exactly the same in that too.

One reason I like Labour and therefore joined it, is the fact Labour MPs and members DON'T adhere to the rigidity of party directives, even moreso when they're wrong directives and they'll say so.
It gets called division when in fact it's just making an alternative argument.

The MPs who play the system and who do wrong, are out of all the MPs since the late 50s as you say.
Are a small minority of all such MPs since then.

As for being robotic, that's the party and parliamentary system we've had all through politics.
So I can't agree with you at all, sorry.

The Commons has from every single party the vast majority of more likely decent men and women who try to and want to do their very best for their constituents and constituencies.
As well as for the Nation as well.

The scandalous ‘expenses scandal’ was what . .. about 10 years ago ...

So have they all retired or moved on ( hundreds of corrupt MPs as I recall ) ...

Many were even caught editing their own wiki pages afterwards - trying to delete their embarrassing info .

I have no time for them

Three vaccine doses key for tackling Omicron

[Two doses of a Covid vaccine are not enough
to stop you catching the Omicron variant,
UK scientists have warned.
Early analysis of UK Omicron and Delta cases showed
the vaccines were less effective at
stopping the new variant.

However, a third booster prevents around 75% of
people getting any Covid symptom
.

The UK Health Security Agency
said vaccines were still likely to
offer good protection against
severe Covid that needed hospital treatment.]

Why does that happen.
Just typed a post and then get told it's closed and all the work of the post is gone.
What a waste of my time.

Maybe just as well.

I've moved your post here Joey as I felt guilty closing the thread just after you'd spent time typing that lol

Also leaves the old one with 9,999 replies which is pretty cool and 10,000 posts exactly

It doesn't matter MTVN.
I wasn't saying anything anyone wouldn't expect me to.

You may have done the forum a favour sparing it my thoughts.

I listen to a lot of news radio and in the last 2 weeks I have not heard a single call from a tory voter who is still supporting the PM

not one

and there have been hundreds of calls that I have heard

100% are against him

The thread should not be called Coronavirus outbreak

It should be called On-going Covid 19 Pandemic
