Owt or nowt all the way.
As in out or nout. That’s in the North of North Yorkshire. Never heard oat, but aaaat is quite common. As in art without a t. Last edited by smudgie; 18-01-2022 at 09:27 AM. |

It wouldn't be a word I used as I'm not from any of those areas that use it but I would have thought it was pronounced "out"

It’s not a word that features in my twang anyhow but “out” it is. Anything else just sounds bizarrely niche.
