You'll still vote for them, and that's how they get away with it.

What does that have to do with anything? No problem with anyone voting for the nasty party, but then don't act surprised when they keep sh1tting on us.

Remember that time when Lineker cut the benefits of the poorest people in the country, wrote off £40b in covid and T&T losses/fraud, put up NI, then gave bankers a billion pound tax cut?

Man, they were weird times.

Just remind the forum what his tweet actually said, and how/why you believe it's a path to grabbing more money.

Lucky him

If he quit, the license fee wouldn't go down. The BBC spuffs all kind of money up the wall, but as long as the TV personalities and actors bring in good ratings and are liked, then who cares?

Don't buy a TV licence if you feel that strongly. Nobody is forcing you to own a TV.

You don't buy a TV license. You buy a television set out of your hard earned money then some scary people demand money off you every so often so that you can watch your television in your own home. And if you don't give them your money which they're demanding from you, they start sending you threats like any bully would, and if you still don't give into them they send some big men to your house to force their way in and steal your possessions.

Exactly who are the criminals here and why are you defending them?

You don't buy insurance, MOT or tax ...you buy a car.

You don't buy insurance or council tax.. you buy a house.

Try again.

I'm talking about TV licences, because that's what you brought up to have a pop at LT. Now you want to change it to cars and houses.
