[Politics latest: Raab bullying report handed
to Number 10 as deputy PM's future hangs in the balance Rishi Sunak's spokesperson confirms the PM received the report this morning and is 'carefully considering the findings', but won't offer a timeline for when it will be published.] If Sunak lets him stay some Civil Servants will leave their jobs. https://news.sky.com/story/politics-...inent-12593360 Last edited by arista; 21-04-2023 at 12:51 PM. |

He’ll stick around no matter what the report says, Rishi doesn’t want to look weak to the far right delegation of his party by holding his people accountable for their actions

the only person that decides if he broke parliamentary rules is Sunak, so if Sunak doesn't want to sack him, he won't

it's unlikely he is getting sacked. The other guy was fired within minutes of Sunak receiving the report on him

i agree with Joey. If Sunak was going to sack Raab, it would have been done within minutes of receiving the report. There is no way he didn't know exactly what was in the report before receiving it and now he is looking at how it can be fudged
If he indeed choses not to sack him when all the evidence suggests he should be gone, then it will be the beginning of the end for Sunak and he wont last until the summer Book mark this post now ![]() |

I saw Gina Miller on Piers Morgan's show last night and she said quite a while back she was in a lift with Raab and when the doors opened he said to her I can't decide if you're a bitch or just naive !

The report is probably very wishy washy and doesn't make a firm conclusion either way

'Wishy washy fishy rishi'.
So his capability of making a correct decision for the Country, his governnent and those who have identified themselves as the probable victims, will be to possibly fudge the issue and only set out to protect him and Raab. No one else. I kind of hope he refuses to act and if he leaves Raab who was a hopeless Justice secretary before, a disastrous Foreign secretary, again now a useless Justice secretary and an insult to the office of deputy PM. Then this is an issue which will not go away at all. |

i think Sunak comes across really badly on this. After his speech about integrity and accountability, if there was even a sniff of bullying, Rabb should have been out on his ass months ago. Also, Sunak will know perfectly well whether Raab is a bully or not, he doesn't need an investigation, so i find the whole thing rather distasteful. He obviously doesn't want to sack him and that's that. Like i said earlier. This is the beginning of the end for Sunak
