Emma Barnes: And Labour’s definition of a woman?

Annaliese Dodds: Well, I have to say that there are different definitions legally around what a woman actually is. I mean you look at the definition within the Equality Act and I think it just says someone who is adult and female, I think, but then doesn’t say how you define either of those things. I mean that’s then… you’ve got the biological definition, the legal definition, all of this kind of thing.

Emma Barnes: With respect I didn’t ask for that. What’s the Labour definition?

Annaliese Dodds: Well, I think with respect Emma I think it does depend what the context is, surely. You know there are people who have decided to…that they have to make that transition. You know, I’ve spoken with many of them. It’s been a very difficult process for many of those people, and you know understandably because they live as a woman they want to be defined as a woman. That’s what the Gender Recognition Act – again a Labour process – brought into place.

Emma Barnes: Context is all, but trans women are women from your perspective?

Annaliese Dodds: But, but then when you come to the Equality Act, and you know Emma I’m not going to…

The truth is that everyone knows the difference between men and women. Distinguishing
between the sexes is an evolved instinct that we share with other species, and we were
doing it long before anybody knew anything about chromosomes and genetics.

Dodds needs to find the courage to ignore future attempts by entitled caucuses
to control her diary, and she needs to avoid them controlling her thinking. She
knows the difference between men and women in the same way that everybody
else knows it really, but will she be able to put that instinct at the heart of
equalities legislation? The time for obfuscation and ‘it depends’ is over. If she
does see sense it will upset the LGBTQ+ lobby (who, let’s face it, are never
satisfied) but she might leave a legacy that endures.

Yeah it's perfectly ok for men to use ladies changing rooms & women's toilets then , because there's no differences biologically between us . And if any of us women dare question it or act concerned ...I guess we should just shut up and accept it.

There was even an article where a ' trans ' person was bragging about using women's spaces,and how there's nothing we can do about it. Now I ask you ...if they had an ounce of respect surely they wouldn't be gloating let alone getting pleasure from making women & girls feel uncomfortable .

I reckon that anyone born with a willy should use the men’s toilets for the rest of their lives .

The way I see it if a genuine trans woman is using women's spaces & public bathrooms,they wouldn't be laughing in our faces afterwards as some weird " ha I've got them " act .

They would just use the facilities and we probably wouldn't even notice or care . You will never understand Slim so keep being as sarcastic as you like......as you're a man and there isn't really a rise in ' trans men ' making guys uncomfortable in men's areas, so you'll never see it from our point of view.
