OK update on this situation :/

I went for an early scan a few weeks back because I was bleeding a bit, scan showed baby at 5 weeks rather than 7. Was told that either my dates were wrong, or it had stopped growing a fortnight before the scan. Went back on monday to find out it was the second scenario.

Shouldnt have told everyone so early because now I still have people coming up to me saying congratulations and such...I know for next time to wait until I am at least 3 months gone before saying a word.

Ahh Vicky, that's sad news. Same thing happened to me four times, but I eventually had two beautiful sons, so stay strong and know that everything happens for a reason

Thanks guys...I'm not as upset as I probably should be but thats because I had like 10 days to prepare for them telling me I had lost it, as the doc did say when I went for the scan that it was the most likely situation. Have kinda convinced myself that there would have been serious disabilities/illness with the child or something and thats why this has happened, seems easier that way
