1. Laura (the transcontinental love story of Laurita and Bernardo is legitimately one of the funniest things I've seen on this show and everything about its execution was perfect)
Charlie (she was kinda low-key this week so her sendoff wasn't even that great BUT Charlie truly surrendered her entire self to the BB experience and to Jason and we owe a lot to her for that. Her blanking Jason on her way out was a MOOD and her eviction interview was excellent because she came off as the perfect in-between of self-aware and still completely delusional )
Emma (shamelessly hitting the button repeatedly to bring her hunky boy in and sending everyone else into a tailspin, and then breaking out through the fire exit because Jackson got on her case one too many times about it is truly the perfect ending to her story )
2. Jayne (shocking but I think I'm starting to get Jayne? Her holding an intervention with Charlie and frantically telling her IT'S ALWAYS THE WOMAN O_O and then her DR temper tantrum over the chili con carne was the first one I actually enjoyed because "DON'T ****ING GIVE ME THAT ****, LADY!" nearly made me spit out my drink. Ready for her to annihilate Chelsea x)
3. Evelyn (still a fun beta but this nomance with Alex is starting to test my patience a little bit bc how boring)
4. Lateysha (OTTfun and perfectly fine! I don't really have anything to say about her but she doesn't bother me at all. Maybe mildly with her bedroom clique but even then it's suuuper mild and not actually offensive to my viewing so)
5. Jason (he's clooooose to slipping into yellow because his temper tantrum over being nominated was Not A Good Look and I totally can see Jayne and Charlie's point about how he's super conscious of how he's coming across and is constantly looking for that validation from others in the house that he's in the right. Will be curious to see how he is without Charlie there and with the.... events of Annihilation Week)
6. Alex (he was like Sam BB14 levels of UTRP1 for the longest time and now he's in a dreadfully boring nomance with Evelyn and I don't know which is worse? The only thing that was miiildly interesting was how he clocked from the pool party task that you get punished in the house if you can't cope with any sort of adversity but like... he's a human Speak & Spell)

This week was...... not really that good in my opinion? It definitely had some good stuff with the Laurita/Bernardo love story and STONED TO DEATH!!! THROWN OFF BUILDINGS!!! but other than that it was a very lifeless week that definitely lacked some good Charlie/Jason drama among other things. The Shopping Task felt like it consumed the entire week and while the Laura/Bernardo and Emma/Josh stuff was fun, the novelty of the task wore off after one episode and it was dragged out for three. I don't even remember anything that happened outside of the task really, which definitely isn't a good sign. Hoping Annihilation Week is a beautiful disaster that brings some life back into this show.

BB17 Week 5 Edgic, Ranking, and Thots:



1. Laura (I just love her floaty, whispery voice as she just saunters from room to room saying random stuff, like when she kept saying "I pressed the button" during the Lateysha boot even though nobody cared. And we have officially entered The Passion of Laura Carter in the latest episode, where she proceeded to individually corner each person who voted to evict her during the Ryan boot, had a random argument with Sam, and then had an amazing April Lewis-esque DR where she basically told the GBP to **** off if they can't get over what she did Week 1 with Marco )
2. Evelyn (more like EveWIN am I right? God what a righteous force this season needed. The stuff with Alex is tired and boring but man she just was just relentless in the best way possible with calling out Jackson on all of his bull**** each ****ing day. Also, "Be prepared for offensive language and risky pranks" right before he stuffed herself in a suitcase for Alex asdfjkl)
3. Jayne (she gets a lot of bull**** from everyone else about how she complains too much about how she wants to leave but we don't really see that? Instead we just see a MORP random old lady who's floating along in the house having fun banter with people and it's cute. Also like... between outlasting Chelsea, surviving her supposedly obvious boot during the Lateysha thing, and giving The Look at Ryan mere days before single-handedly evicting him in a bin bag, Annihilation Week was really the week of Jayne's victories so gj hun)
Lateysha (I'm pretty neutral leaning towards positive on her. I kinda hated the self-righteousness around her boot where she was supposedly the most deserving bc she's a mother or summat, but I looooooved the moment so much because I guess you really had an impact in the house if people are literally screaming in horror at your eviction. I just wish it translated more into the telly? I've said it before, that she's a mildly fun enough personally but a mild annoyance with her position in the house)
4. Jason (eh I can't really work out my feelings on him anymore! On one hand, his roles in the Lateysha and Ryan evictions are undeniably iconic and need to be appreciated. On the other hand, it's getting a little too... CPM season ruiner-lite to me? Like he's kinda really weak and annoying with his reasons for evicting Lateysha and even though Ryan telling Alex to **** Evelyn in the ass is kinda repulsive, Jason was kind of a little too self-serious about it for my liking? Also I swear "this is the first time I've done something selfish in this house" has to be a line that Ziggy and/or Aaron used at one point )
5. Andy (I am SHOCKED but he was kinda irrelevant this week? Despite having yet another CPM rating this week, he kinda ****ed off into the background once he was immune so I'm glad he least did that)
6. Alex (LOOK at that MORM3 break out. He was still boring alol like I don't care at all about the Evelyn **** and he couldn't even be entertaining when he shamelessly took £5000 after claiming that he wouldn't mess with the prize fund)
7. Sam (I guess he existed this week? He was a little bitch who couldn't handle when Laura told him that he got booed though alol but that was more of a Laura moment so)
8. Hughie (IDK guys like I get it but I totally don't. He really is just as bad as Natalie when it comes to being argumentative and railroading people for no reason, and even when he's had a light week it's just gotten soooo exhausting. Like he got in a screaming match bc he was annoying during a Task and everyone told him to shut the **** up so BB could speak but he was indignant to that? He vowed to never speak to Jason again because he doesn't remember Ryan telling Alex to **** Evelyn in the ass? He shoved his dick into the face of a zebra statue?! I'm sooooo glad I'm not subjected into any more Ryan/Hooie scenes even though the one about his D'Emily tattoo was legitimately funny bc that's the kind of stupid I watch this show for)
Ryan (okay so I don't hate him as much as I thought he would but he's just sooooo stupid and not an endearing way. Making slurping noises as he and Hooie made out, mounting Hooie and a zebra statue, being indignant to any criticism he receives and taking it as a personal attack... like it just felt like he was going through the greatest hits of Being A Good Housemate except it was all stuff we've seen before and he's just a certain kind of fame***** that physically repulses me)
Chelsea (alol I don't even know what to say, there were five minutes when everyone was like "aww Chelsea " when they evicted him but the rest of his time in his two episodes this week were just people talking **** about him for threatening physical violence with or without cameras and just being a wannabe tough guy. He's PAFFETIC)
9. Jackson (it's all been documented in previous posts so all I'm going to say is, in the words of DigitalSpy, ur mask is slippin hun.......x On one hand, if this was a proper series of 64-93 days hoooly **** he would've had an extreme downfall, but at the same time I could not handle the prospect of 50 more days of Jackson so it's for the best)

This week was solidly okay! One one hand, Annihilation Week went about as well as it could have. Nobody was evicted who I actually cared about, the Lateysha eviction is legitimately iconic, the Ryan one is particularly humiliating, Evelyn and Laura became an amazing Batman/Robin duo despite being cast as vapid tit girls who should not have made it past Week 3, lots of good stuff! On the other hand, Annihilation Week as a concept is just wayyyyy too Channel 5 feedback loop for me to fully enjoy. Like the entire premise is HE'S A GAMEPLAYER!!! and GREEDY BASTARD!!! and HE'S INNIT FOR THE MONEY!!! and HERE'S A TASK THAT INVOLVES US REVEALING WHO THE PUBLIC THINKS IS THE FAKEST!!! so with that all being in the works this week only could have been so good.

Happy to only have one more week left tbh, even if it's a longer one (I'm not breaking it up into two weeks on my chart bc one of them would be like two highlight shows and the funale soooo no.) Will be glad to finish so quickly!

1. Makosi
Been a bit quiet since cidergate but she’s still the most interesting and is still playing the best game.
2. Derek
I don’t think I’ll ever bore of Derek’s commentary?
“She just looks like a witch.”
“I’d rather go to a public execution.”
Vanessa: “Sorry, can you just give us five minutes?”, Derek: “No, is the short answer to that, I must get on.”
He’s just fantastic and I feel foolish for ever saying otherwise.
3. Kemal
“At least someone got wet tonight... and it wasn’t Saskia.”
Kemal helped make the fifth week legendary and it makes such a change as to how he was the week before. Literally, no fucks given. He handled himself against Maxwell and Saskia brilliantly.
4. Science
His stubbornness can sometimes be on the line of being irritating (i.e. refusing to take on any role in the task other than the narrator), but he’s still a fantastic housemate and like Kemal, his approach to Maxwell is amazing.
5. Vanessa
“GUESS WHAT THAT DIRTY LITTLE PROSTITUTE JUST SAID TO ME!”
Again, she doesn’t feature much but when she does she’s an absolute mess
6. Saskia
Ok so wait, hear me out. Saskia was awful and fuck having to live with her, but her final week was without a doubt iconic. The desperation, the fear of being evicted, shagging Maxwell (or whatever it was they were doing) thinking it would do some good, the delusion of her thinking she would beat anyone else aside from Maxwell, going off like a bomb and making herself even more disliked by the housemates and the public... It was just a perfect end to the story of someone so self-confident.
7. Orlaith
Like before, perfectly fine but I think Kemal hit the nail on the head regarding the fact that she’s probably hesitant to slag off Anthony because she’s aware of his public reception (which I’m guessing is positive? God knows why.. Oh wait, sr8 white “hunk” lol).
8. Craig
It really annoys me that he’s aligned himself to Maxwell and Anthony because we’re missing out on an amazing housemate imo. I’m hoping whenever it is that Maxwell leaves, we’ll see the best of Craig.
9. Eugene
Ok I feel kinda bad but wtf is he doing? Telling stories about washing machines and first aid courses and piloting planes to people who clearly don’t give a toss? It’s fine to be a bit odd and eccentric but it’s coming off a bit false and boring. He’s trying to find his place which I understand, but he’s not going to appeal to the likes of Derek anytime soon.
10. Maxwell
Only rated above Anthony because he’s slightly more developed but yeah, an absolute delusion div.
11. Anthony

CBB UK 2007 (Episode 5, family nominated, Donny walked).

It's a shame that Donny walked bc i felt like he was very entertaining.
On the other hand, the peasants are been nice. Cloe is just fantastic, very entertaining and also very caring. Hope she gets a good placement.

I am gonna be unpopular but so far I can't stand Shilpa. First of all when they had to pick who they would have swapped, she cried for literally no reason. " i look like a bitch ". Well i mean no, I had no doubt she wouldn't have want due to her life's conditions.
From the start she was hostile to Jade and her family for no reason and she started bitching about them. Then the way she tried to talk to JACKIE " let's go in toilet because i don't want to have a scene " and jackie asking her , just really made me thinking she wanted attention.
Even though I understand why she did, i am with Jackie. Overall it was just a task and I think she took the opportunity to have a go at her.
Jackie also i think in the right in the room argument: like she asked to BB to not make them cold and she just said to Jenneth what she did, and randomly Ken started screaming lmao.
I mean i might be in minority but Shilpa started the whole thing.

This Shilpa is just driving me insane damn. Like why she is such an attention seeker? Like Jade was crying bc of her mum leaving and she went to the toilet crying because of the fact that Jackie saying she was a nightmare living in there. Jackie also clarified in the Dr that outiside she would have been close to SHilpa, bc she likes India.
So why shilpa is costantly seeking attention? I mean Jade compared to her is acting in a way way more nature manner.
Leo is just doing nuts LMAO at him wanting to see his contract . I am gonna miss him, he was a mess but he made this season interesting. And big lol to his exit.
Cleo is starting to side with the bitchy side of the house, like Carol, Jo and danielle and this kinda drives me insane. Like cleo shouldn't stay with that group. She kinda lost her fun and i'm not into it.

The Izzy Warbuton experience is one of the BBUK highlights.
