Alf, listen to this, you won't hear but you need to listen. Your preferred candidate is not going to win every election, and when they lose, it's not a conspiracy, it's not the result of stolen votes or cheating, sometimes, you just lose. Accept the loss, accept that the people had their say, even if you don't agree with what they voted for, because that's what mature adults do. Chasing fairy tales and fiction to falsely justify what is an attack on democracy because your side lost is just childish and gross.

Antifa wasn't responsible for the attack on Capital, that was Trump Supporters, not your basement dwelling shoot up a school losers, but people suckered in and radicalised by extremist rhetoric over the course of four years.

A military presence at DC is not a sign of wrongdoing by Biden, it's a sign that the people you have thrown your support behind are crazy terrorists that are a danger to the US' democracy.

I know this is all pointless, you are probably too deep down the rabbit hole to see sense, but it has to be said. You need to reconnect with reality and see things for what they are.

...as dumb and naive as it probably is, it hasn’t ever occurred to me that the pardons are ‘bought’....how can anyone feel that someone like that has any integrity whatsoever because it’s surely a blatant abuse of power...so the President may not have the flimsiest knowledge of a case but still pardon their crimes because a fee has been received...?...that’s incredible and terrifying...

people in a position to lobby trump have been paid tens of thousands just to put peoples names forward, so there are a whole bunch of people making money from it, it's obscene

the executions are to appease his law and order base. That's all a bit complicated I think. If a jury has recommended the death penalty, then it seems "right" that the sentence is carried out after due process with appeals etc as been followed. The murderers facing the death penalty have all been pretty grim from the ones I have looked in to. If the consensus is that they don't want the death penalty, then that should be applied to the legal process of prosecution rather than letting people live on death row

...yeah the cases are all pretty grim, I agree...but it does seem like a crazy system to me that the death sentence would still be carried out after so many years...it just doesn’t seem like a very logical system...

What comes IMMEDIATELY after Trump won't be, but the next time the US flips Republican (and it will ALWAYS seesaw between the two) I do genuinely worry about what the next Red President looks like.
