I was joking of course .. he played well .. for Newcastle !

Everyone’s favourite Rice - apparently had a nightmare..

A defensive blooper by him in the second minute practically gifted Newcastle an early goal and then another massive mistake set up Newcastle’s equaliser.

I only watched the first half where he was MIA . I don’t recall him touching the ball more than ten times . To his credit the pundits did comment that he usually plays much better ..

He wasn't very good today but all players have off day and given the number of times he has carried us in games I can forgive him

Sadly our players are pretty much all knackered and we have no depth, I expect us to be competing for top 7 end of season rather than top 4

Replays show City’s goal shouldn’t have counted .. definitely a foul by Walker in the build up .

Too far back for VAR to get involved apparently

I can still see Spurs winning this

Default 2021/22 Premier League discussion thread

Is it me or has Foden gone real quiet despite City having 90% possession ?

That was dreadful tracking back then for the Kane chance .. the keeper saved him.

This emphasises my point about him not being a world class midfielder .. great technique he rarely if ever puts a tackle in .. he made no attempt to put any challenge in when it really mattered

I’m sure VAR wasn’t introduced to wipe out narrow offside calls !

The ref favoured City all day !
Plus where did he get 10 minutes extra time from ??

Edit .. Foden completely anonymous today even with City dominating with 74% possession !!

I bet Manchester City wish they could buy a centre forward as good as Harry Kane.

I agree with you about Rice.

I still think that you can finish above Wolves & Tottenham at the end of the season.

I agree with this 100%.

As a neutral, I could tell that the Referee was clearly trying to salvage a point for Man City today, it was disgraceful officiating.

What's happening with next season? because I believe the World Cup is taking place during the season. Has anything been announced with what's happening?
