I'm not a royalist ,but I still don't think it's the right time or place . I wonder if they'll do this again when it's the actual coronation?? . As wouldn't that make more sense if they're saying " Not My King " or "Abolish The Monarchy" .

Whether people liked or disliked The Queen , it's still about her memory this week .

It's like being part of history.

Her Majesty was Queen of the UK.
The Royals could never have been allowed to grieve privately like other families do.
There's a demand of a sort from the people wanting to share in this loss.

King Charles 111 actually is doing HIS new job too.
Taking on the new duties while carrying out the ceremonies of those new duties.
We haven't seen this or heard this for 70 years.

The King, is being supported in his new job as King by his family and they are all supporting each other in their grieving the loss of their Mother.

Recently there's more on other channels now.
However I find I'm choosing to watch the build up to the funeral.
Plus taking in the transition from the late Queen to a King now.

It's NOT their fault.
I actually found the 4 of them standing vigil at their Mothers coffin.
Both moving and heartbreaking.

Plus as Cherie said, I think opinion has changed.
I wasn't sure of Charles being King.
Now I am.
I think he will be a really good Monarch.
I now have both respect and admiration for him and how he has carried out everything these last few days.
His training from his Mother has clearly been perfect from her.

Well said Joey. I have the week off coincidently and have been watching it at every opportunity. I think if the Royals had just hidden away in Mourning there would have been many a negative debate regarding Charles becoming King...but vunlike any other family they have not had the privilidge to hide away in their grief. History and protocols have allowed all of us to share their grief. I think they have all dealt with this so well and like you, I have a lot more confidence and respect for Charles as our new King...and I now think he will do a great job in the short time he has.

I don’t think attacking a grieving family is on at all

Bojo being booed at the Jubilee service was great though completely different scenarios

Yep the coronation if they choose to protest there would be fine in my view

Its about common decency

They should be grateful they live in a Democratic country where they are allowed to vent their feelings without being dragged off and executed. Which is why they should save their protests for a more respectful time and place...
they are just ignorant scum imo....

In a democracy there aren’t rules on where or when you can protest, you can’t have it both ways, either you believe in freedom and democracy or you don’t, the queen dying doesn’t change people’s freedom of speech or expression

The Queen hasn't even been buried yet though , tbh when she died I was thinking if the monarchy died with her then that would be fitting. But let's be realistic here , the monarchy just goes on .

And I don't see the point of choosing her death whilst people are mourning ,as a way to protest against the monarchy. And why is Andrew only just getting heckled now ? , Where was this heckler in the past few years?? When the scandal & allegations actually came to light

Look how the Royal family have to continue with tradition & their duties, Charles didn't even have time to grieve , he's thrown out there as 'New King on the throne ' the moment his mother died.

I’ve been getting more and more annoyed thinking about just how much money is being spent on all of this nonsense while there are still real people suffering because of the current crisis going on, it’s blood boiling that we’re wasting so much money on all of these pompous ceremonies while the dead woman’s ‘people’ are being left to rot

Thank you for your response.
Also indeed, had they hidden away, the criticism would have likely been deafening.

Yes The Government
is trying to fit the Live Parliament
Mini budget
to last day next week before they go to recess

I think Meghan & The Queen liked eachother ,they seemed to get on .. whatever people seem to think.

Taxing the uber-wealthy and corporations is an even better way to give a permanent boost to the economy.

Raising the taxes for the super wealthy would probably solve alot of problems. But the super wealthy are greedy & they get salty over the 'unthinkable of losing a penny', they wouldn't even notice it's gone .. that's how crazy it is.

Alan Sugar recently has been rubbing it in the working class faces , I guess to him we're all peasants. The bloke was showing off his yacht .. really insensitive pr1ck ,then he had the nerve to tell people to shut up who dared criticised his selfish behaviour.
