If you've not watched "Detectorists" yet then I highly recommend you get on BBC Iplayer and binge watch all 3 series (19, 30 minute episodes in all) ASAP because there is a 75 minute special airing on BBC 2 on Boxing day.

It really is a great series. The best UK show of the past 10 years by far.

They've said that this is gonna be the finale but they've said that before. I'm aching for them to do another series after this.

I hope all the regular cast are in the special.
