I never found him funny. He was just like an ordinary guy who just wouldn't shut up. Like a guy at work.

He never came across to me as a true comedian or even had star quality.

I always liked him as the host of Goldenballs. That was also the last thing I remember seeing him in.

Incidentally, as we're on a Big Brother forum, I always thought that would have been a good hosting gig for Nasty Nick Bateman, i.e., a show where you have to lie and manipulate another to get to the cash prize.

It's probably through all of the stress of being a Blues fan.

Jokes aside though it is a shame about his health, he is a very funny guy imo, and I would say that regardless of which Football team he supports.
