🚨 BREAKING : Reform's Staffordshire County Council has REFUSED to pay for this year's August “pride parade”.
In a statement Reform said that it’s not a good use of taxpayers money. Ian Cooper said: "We're not against Pride - have a great time, enjoy yourself. However, we are not going to spend taxpayers' money funding that. "If you want to do that, go to the private sector, ask charities, put your hand in your own pocket - we think priorities are better spent on other things." |

[Less than 48 hours later, Yusuf said his decision
to quit was a “mistake” that had resulted from “exhaustion” after working long hours and facing reams of racist abuse on social media. Farage and Yusuf announced on Saturday that Yusuf would return to the fold and would take on several jobs, though his formal title has not been announced.] https://www.theguardian.com/politics...turn-reform-uk Good, he has seen sense and returned to work on the Reform UK Policy |

Zia Yusuf went from saying "I no longer believe working to get a reform government elected is a good use of my time" to "I will continue to give all my time to the most important project of my life, getting a Reform government elected with Nigel as Prime Minister" in 2 days Last edited by Crimson Dynamo; 07-06-2025 at 08:10 PM. |

Not really - this council contributed less than Ł2k to Pride. It's kind of bas business because pride is an event that brings people into a city centre, spending money on public transport or parking, in shops, restaurants and in bars, etc... so it's good, economically. However it's not a huge issue, because they donated so little, which will be made up in other ways.

![]() New Reform chair David Bull calls for return of death penalty Dr David Bull also called for burqas to be banned in the UK Dr David Bull, a former medical doctor, has said he would support the return of capital punishment for criminals such as Axel Rudakabana, who murdered three girls in a mass stabbing at a children’s dance class in Southport. He added: “I don't like seeing people in burqas. I feel particularly in East London, where I live, it certainly has divided the community. We've got a whole swathes of people not even speaking English, which I just think is not acceptable.” |

So he went from leaving because devoting his life to Reform's cause was no longer a good use of his time
... to returning (albeit in different role) and wanting to run as an MP? Unless it was just a hissyfit where he threw his toys out of the pram and regretted it immediately after ... or there's an interesting story behind it all.
