I will never understand how that **** is legal.

I mean, most gender conversation therapy programs are faith based, with Muslims leading the way by a huge margin at 20% having the service offered (and that was just from those that responded to the study, I have zero doubt it is much higher in reality)

They oppose any ban on conversion therapy because they say that it would infringe on 'traditional religious teachings'.

Interestingly, the Church of England is against it.

Before you listen to a member of the LGBT community on this issue please ask them where they stand on the mass importing of an unreformed bronze age fundamentalist religion into the UK from the Middle-East.

That’s a deflection. The problem isn’t imported religion, it’s the practice itself. Conversion therapy is abuse whether it’s done by Muslims, Christians, or anyone else. Pointing to one group’s involvement doesn’t make it less wrong or less dangerous.

And using faith communities as a shield against bans only proves the need for those bans. Human rights shouldn’t bend around religious comfort. No one should be coerced into changing who they are, full stop.

See, what you are doing here is rationalising the contradiction between defending a fundamentalist religion that hasn't changed since the Bronze Age, including it's views on LGBT, and progressive Western values.

The point is that importing MORE of a faith that is actively and openly against your progressive values en mass over a short period of time is severe self harm.

52% of Muslims in the UK don't even think homosexuality should be legal.

I agree.

It's not me that you need to convince of this.

So, basically I think your narrative is trash and your counting skills are worse
Teja said she didn't even know much about the lgbtq community too

Its self inflicted though especially when Marcus and Tate ( in particular) are influenced even controlled by that lump-head Cameron who because he’s continually bored just annoys , upsets or intimidates just about everyone including his two hapless followers

Well that's just a total rewriting of what actually happened. They gravitated towards each other and formed a clique very early on, it wasn't the result of being ostracised whatsoever.

The others have ostracised them for doing that. Or that's what it looked like until Nancy spilt the beans to Cameron B last night. Which I've just seen.

So maybe you're right.

They started the group thing by calling themselves the wolf pack in the first few days. Plus they are ****ing awful and bring it on themselves.

Edit: Actually just Cameron B and Marcus are awful. Tate is just bland but seems nice enough so far.

guys can we stop pointing out that the straight guys formed a group first, it is really obscuring the suffering and plight that heterosexual men have to face everywhere online in queer communities they voluntarily intrude upon and annoy

Now now Shaun, we don't want to go down the TIBB gays only route.

The thread will just end up closed.

Prity funny post though.

In my defence, it seems to be our group or **** off now that cam B and his loud voice have left.

No George either.

This is why I struggle with organized religion sometimes, because some of the leaders of a Religion will abuse the teachings to justify hatred of the other.

And I can believe it with Islam tbh, as we know that they do have a contingent of their community that are extremely Homophobic.

How do you explain Teja disliking Tate more than Cameron B?

For some reason the three guys in general can't seem to get along with Feyisola, Teja, and possibly Zelah.

And tbf it seems like the feeling is very much mutual.
