It soon evaporated when she thought she was getting the pass there and then. Magically turning into arrogance.

Her tears was for not getting the pass. Unless she somehow is arrogant enough to expect white eyes. Which it loooks like she is.


Holds her own in the company of farage and Johnson, but becomes almost inconsolable cause she didn't get an eye..

For me, they didn't. She was still upset but trying to laugh through it when the twist was revealed.
