They are the act who are making the headlines, getting everyone talking and building the hype and ratings up. Without them I think the show would be down in both hype and viewers. So from Simons view they are good to keep in the contest and he wants them there, the reason why they always perform towards the end of the show. I think Simon would be more pleased the higher they finish, as long as they don't win

Simon obviously doesn't want them to win to protect The X factor brand but I bet he is hoping they last a few more weeks atleast.
Talk about deluded! The show would be a lot better without them - they lower the tone.

What a ****ing retarded post.
Thats bullshit, you can belive that if you want but its utter crap.

Louis put them through for entertaiment.
He knows they cant sing and he knew the groups wouldnt win this year so he put them through because people would like them for entertaiment, its got nothing to do with Louis and Jedward being Irish but trust you Lot to think that!

Haha
He doesnt have to be Irish to like J+E Your most likely pissed that their still in because the British are keeping them in.

The Irish cant vote, so you can blame Ireland for them being in.
And most of Ireland cant stand them anyway so it wouldnt make a diffrence, its ENGLANDS Fault that J+E are there, its got nothing to do with Ireland.

So just because Spike or any one for that matter, likes J+E It doesnt mean their Irish

No and i'm not saying it because they are my favourite act either
They are not the most talented act in the competition and they don't deserve to win but they are really adding alot to the hype and the huge ratings the show is getting. Simon knows this and thats why its so obvious he actually wants them to stay for as long as possible.

He's not taking it to far, it's a singing Competition but also the act needs the X Factor. John and Edward has neither if they won it would be a diaster, its meant for singing, you get a 1 million recordining contract at the end, how is J + E meant to live up to Leona and Alex (40 number 1s across the globe)
